Ride For Ceylon

A 4Days Cycling Programme in Order to Improve the Historical Development of GMH (Green Memorial Hospital) Which was established on the early 18th Century and the First Medical School in the Southern Asia.

The Cycle ride was arranged under the Umbrella of “Ride for Ceylon” “City tats” of Australia, “St Tomian’s Riders” of Colombo, Volunteers from Rumania and UK, totally 43 Volunteers have participated in the cycle ride. The ride was Started on 27th Feb2019 from Jet wing’s hotel, Colombo and with the 4days traveling of 420km if was ended at Historical Green Memorial Hospital, Manipay.

An Ambulance was handed over to Institute of Medical Sciences, Green Memorial hospital, Manipay. Which was obtained through the Raised Fund of the Cycle Ride.
